We are leaders in the field of workshop fabrications of specialised products for the heat transfer industry. We manufacture tubular products for the petrochemical, power generating, nuclear and other major industries.

Boiler Tubes

The Group can provide a complete package for Boiler Tube replacement. We carry a stock of standard boiler tubes, and with our fully-equipped bending and fabrication facility at our Swansea workshops, we can turn around items within hours.

We can offer a full service, from thickness measurement of suspect tubes, to full boiler tube wall replacement, complete with non-destructive testing.

Headers and Manifolds

Aimed at planned boiler outages, we are able to supply a complete range of distribution components, including:

Top and Bottom Headers
Mud Drums
Superheater Headers
Antler Manifolds
‘Y’ Headers
1st, and 2nd. Stage Headers
Reheater drums

Headers can be manufactured in materials ranging from carbon steel, to modified 9% chrome, and up to 40 tonnes in weight.

Large diameter machining

We have a fully-equipped machine shop with horizontal borers, able to handle large and unwieldy items. This machining facility is offered to Refineries and Power Stations to enable reclaiming of joint faces, etc. of critical plant.

Heat Treatment

The Group has one of the largest, gas-fired Heat Treatment furnaces in the UK.

• Radiography and N.D.T.

The Group has full, in-house Non Destructive Testing facilities, including:

Radiography – both gamma and X-ray
Magnetic Particle Inspection
Dye Penetrant Inspection
Ultrasonic and thickness examination

All of the above testing facilities are available as stand-alone site services.
