The Group offers a complete on and off site maintenance package for Heat Exchangers and Fin Fans, from simple visual inspection of tube bundles to full retubes with a guaranteed turn-around time. USE offers a new, fast-track bundle carcass service, which allows engineers to have a complete new tube test, whilst re-using existing tubesheets, in the same time period, and at the same cost, as a standard, full retube. The Group is committed to reducing down time in Heat Exchangers. With our fully-experienced site presence, and an extensive workshop, we can provide an unparalleled level of service. Pressure VesselsWe are able to design, fabricate and install Pressure Vessels in a wide range of materials and sizes. Working closely with the Lloyds’ Register EMEA, the Group can obtain appraisal to the Pressure Equipment Directive and we are approved with both ASME ‘S’ and ‘U’ Stamps, thus giving a complete vessel package to our clients. Large diameter machiningWe have a fully-equipped machine shop with horizontal borers, able to handle large and unwieldy items. This machining facility is offered to Refineries and Power Stations to enable reclaiming of joint faces, etc. of critical plant. Heat TreatmentThe Group has one of the largest, gas-fired Heat Treatment furnaces in the UK.
